This results in booming productive colonies that tend to maintain a large population throughout the year. We select our Italian breeder queens for gentle behavior, prductivity, and Varroa Mite resistance.

About our queens
Our queens are marked and inspected before shipping. Queens are shipped in cages with attendants. Each cage comes with a candy tube so you have the option to directly release the queen or let the bees release her by eating through the sugar candy.
 
Important Shipping Information
We ship our queens throughout the United States using UPS Overnight Air.  We can ship anywhere in the US except for Alaska & Hawaii. Most orders arrive the next day after shipping.

All queen orders shipped UPS Next Day Air are backed by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Queens shipped using UPS 2 Day Air are not backed by our guarantee. 
 
Any queens that arrive dead will either be replaced or refunded depending on the availability of replacement queens. If no replacement queens are available for immediate replacement, the order will be refunded. Most of our shippments arrive on time with no issues. However, there is always a possibility for issues to arise or for shipments to be delayed for reasons out of our control. Because of this, we strongly recommend waiting until your queens have arrived safe before removing old queens or making splits. Our Live Arrival Guarantee only applies to queens that arrive dead. If your queen(s) arrive dead you must notify us within 24 hours from when the queens were delivered to your residence/business or delivered to a UPS location for pickup. Any claims  made after 24 hours since arrival will be denied. We may request pictures or other proof that the queen(s) arrived dead before issuing a replacement or refund. This guarantee does not apply to queens that die after delivery. We recommend introducing your queen(s) as soon as possible to reduce the risk of queens dying before introduction. 
 
We are not offering local pickup for queens at this time.
